Bluebonnets and Lollipops!

What a joy it was to take photos of this amazing family. All 3 children jumped out of the car screaming "Miss Jodie!" as if I was their long lost best friend and they all gave me a hug...what a great start! Joy, Joy, Joy....that's how I will describe this family photo shoot! What a blessing they all were to me!


I love this photo because look in the background at brother watching on...so sweet!

Remove Color!

This is my first attempt at removing color from certain areas of a photo, using photoshop. Thank you Megan for being my model and thank you to my cousin for the suggestion.

Proud to be a Texan!

Stunning! That's all I can say about the state flower of Texas!
Because Texas had such a wet winter, the wildflowers are going to be incredible this spring! As a photographer, this news makes me very excited because you cannot recreate nature in a studio and there is nothing better to use as a backdrop!


And even more stunning is this beauty in the bluebonnets!
